Check two things before you order: this is the 16S build — 67.2V is the full-charge voltage of a 16S lithium pack (59.2V nominal), the pack usually sold as 60V. A 13S 48V pack charges at 54.6V, a 14S pack at 58.8V, and 48V lead-acid needs a different profile again — this unit is not for lead-acid. Second, the connector: standard here is GX16-3P (12 mm), so compare it against your old charger's plug.

Why this charger lasts

In CC mode the charger pushes a steady 3A into the pack until it reaches 67.2V, then switches to CV mode and holds that voltage while the current tapers. Charging stops when the pack is full, so the unit is safe to leave connected overnight — which is what a 16S pack in daily use actually needs.
Active cooling

A built-in fan moves air across the board and the radiating fins around it, so heat leaves through the shell by design. Some warmth on the case under a 3A load is normal.

FR-4 board

The PCB is FR-4: more solid welding, higher reliability, more stable under thermal cycling than the cheap board material used in low-cost chargers.

Voltage display

The display shows the pack voltage as it climbs, so the user can see charge state instead of guessing from a light.

Active PFC

Power factor correction keeps input current in phase with the mains, so the charger draws a clean, near-unity load instead of the spiky draw a cheap charger presents to the socket.

Six protection layers

OVP, OCP, SCP, OTP, overload protection and overcharge cut-off. Charging stops on a fault and resumes automatically once it clears.

1-year warranty. We build it, so we can stand behind it.

Frequently asked questions

Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer. YZPOWER has designed, assembled and tested battery chargers in our own 3,000 m² factory in Shenzhen since 2011 — SMT lines, assembly zones, aging chambers and quality control all under one roof. OEM and ODM builds are welcome.

What battery does this charger suit?
A 16S lithium-ion pack — 59.2V nominal, 67.2V at full charge. These packs are sold as 60V packs, so go by the series count rather than the label: if your pack has 16 cells in series, its full-charge voltage is 67.2V and this is the charger. If you are not sure, tell us your pack's nominal voltage and full-charge voltage and we will confirm.

Is this the same thing as a 60V battery charger?
Yes. A 16S lithium pack is sold as a 60V pack — 59.2V nominal, 67.2V at full charge — so this is also the 60V lithium battery charger you want when you search for a 60V battery charger. Check the series count (16S) or the full-charge voltage on your old charger: if it says 67.2V, this is the one.

Will the connector fit my e-bike or scooter?
The standard output on this build is GX16-3P (12 mm). If your old charger uses a different plug — 3-pin XLR, DC 5.5 × 2.1 mm, XT60 and so on — we build the same charger with that connector, so send us a photo of the old plug or your pack's socket and we will match it. Connector mismatch is the single most common reason a replacement charger gets returned.

Can I use it on a 48V (13S) pack, a 48V LiFePO4 pack or a 48V lead-acid battery?
Not with this build. 67.2V is the full-charge voltage of a 16S pack; a 13S 48V lithium pack charges at 54.6V, a 14S pack at 58.8V, a 48V LiFePO4 pack (16S) at 58.4V, and 48V lead-acid needs a different charging profile entirely. This unit is not for lead-acid. We build all of those versions on the same platform — same housing, fan, PFC and protections, different output voltage — so tell us your battery type and we will quote the right version. Ordering the wrong output voltage is the most common reason a replacement charger fails.

Does it stop charging when the battery is full?
Yes. When the pack reaches 67.2V the charger tapers the current, stops charging and holds the pack rather than continuing to push current into it, which is what protects a lithium pack from overcharging. Over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, over-temperature and overload protections are all built in, and charging resumes automatically once a fault clears.
