54.6V is the full-charge voltage of a 13-series lithium pack (13 × 4.2V) — the standard
configuration behind anything sold as a "48V" e-bike or e-scooter battery. In CC mode the charger
pushes a steady 4A in until the pack reaches 54.6V, then holds that voltage in CV mode while the
current tapers, then stops. That taper and cut-off are what stop the pack being overcharged.
4A — half the charging time of 2A
Most 48V chargers on the market deliver 2A. Doubling the current roughly halves the time a
48V 10–30Ah pack spends on charge, which is the difference between one shift and two.
1.Active PFC
Power factor correction keeps input current in phase with the mains, so the charger draws a
clean, near-unity load instead of the spiky draw a cheap charger presents to the socket.
2. Built-in fan
At 218.4W continuous, heat is the main killer of charger lifetime. Forced-air cooling plus a
flame-retardant PC housing keeps the power stage inside its rating.
3. Voltage display
The voltmeter on the case shows the pack voltage as it climbs, so the user can see charge
state rather than guess from a light.

Own SMT lines, assembly zones, aging chambers and IQC / IPQC / OQC checkpoints sit under one roof;
every unit is aged before it is packed, and your order runs through three inspections before we
photograph it and dispatch. Certificate and test-report copies are available for your technical
file on request.

Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer, building chargers in Shenzhen since 2011. Our 3,000 m² facility has its own SMT lines, assembly zones, aging chambers and QC stations, with a monthly capacity of 150,000+ units. We welcome factory visits and third-party inspections.
What battery does this charger suit?
A 48V (13S) lithium-ion pack. 54.6V is the full-charge voltage of 13 series lithium cells at 4.2V each, so a 54.6V 4A charger is the correct match for a 48V lithium e-bike, e-scooter or moped battery — the same 54.6V output also charges 52V packs.
Will it fit my e-bike or scooter?
The charger is supplied with a 3-pin XLR output connector and is used on Kugoo Kirin-compatible models. If your equipment uses a different connector, send us your model or a photo of the socket — we build to your specification, including DC barrel, GX16, XT and Anderson-style connectors.
Can it charge a 48V lead-acid or LiFePO4 battery?
This 54.6V build is for 13S lithium packs. We also make the same model as a 48V lead-acid version (around 58.8V out) and a 48V LiFePO4 version (16S, 58.4V out) — one platform, different output voltage, so you get the same housing, fan, PFC and protections with the voltage your pack needs. Tell us your battery type and we will quote the right version: ordering the wrong output voltage is the most common reason a replacement charger fails.
Why 4A instead of 2A?
Current sets charging time. On the same 48V 20Ah pack, a 4A charger puts roughly twice the energy in per hour of a 2A charger, so it reaches full charge in about half the time. It is the same 54.6V output either way — only the current differs.
