Check two things before you order: first, verify your wheel is a 28S lithium-ion build — 100.8V is the full-charge voltage of a 28S lithium pack (96.6V nominal). A 84V (20S) wheel charges at 84.0V, a 100V (24S LiFePO4) system charges at a different curve, and lead-acid batteries require a completely different charging profile. Second, check your charging port: BEGODE wheels use different charging ports (GX16-4P, GX16-5P, or Lenovo plug). Confirm your pin configuration (e.g., Pin 1+, Pin 2-) before placing an order.

##Why this charger lasts
In CC mode the charger pushes a steady 5A into the battery pack until it reaches 100.8V, then switches to CV mode and holds that voltage while current tapers off. Charging stops when the pack is full, so the unit is safe to leave connected overnight.
Active cooling: A built-in high-speed fan draws cool air across the internal circuit board and aluminum heat sinks, maintaining stable temperatures during 5A continuous output.
Voltage display: The side digital display tracks actual battery voltage in real time as it charges up to 100.8V.
Active PFC: Active power factor correction reduces current harmonic distortion and ensures efficient power conversion.

What battery does this charger suit?
A 28S lithium-ion pack — 96.6V nominal, 100.8V at full charge. These packs are commonly used in 96V high-performance electric unicycles (BEGODE / Gotway / Extreme Bull / Leaperkim). Check the cell series count (28S) or the full-charge voltage on your original charger: if it states 100.8V DC, this is the correct unit.
Is this charger compatible with BEGODE / Gotway electric unicycles?
Yes. BEGODE 96V wheels require a 100.8V full-charge cutoff. However, please confirm the charge port plug type (GX16-4P vs GX16-5P vs Lenovo plug) and pinout assignment (e.g., Pin 1+, Pin 2-) when ordering to ensure plug-and-play compatibility.
Will the connector fit my electric unicycle or scooter?
The standard output on this build is GX16-4P or GX16-5P. If your wheel uses a different plug, we build the charger with your required connector. Simply send us a photo of your wheel's charge port or old plug wiring, and we will match it.
Can I use it on a 84V (20S) pack or a lead-acid battery?
No. 100.8V is specifically designed for 28S lithium-ion packs. Connecting a 100.8V charger to an 84V (20S) battery or a lead-acid battery will cause severe overcharging and damage. We produce dedicated chargers for 84V (20S), 72V (24S), and lead-acid profiles on the same platform — contact us to get the right build.
Does it stop charging when the battery is full?
Yes. When the pack reaches 100.8V, the charger tapers the current, stops charging, and automatically cuts off power to protect the lithium cells from overcharging. Integrated OVP, OCP, SCP, and OTP safety circuits monitor the charge cycle continuously.
