What this charger is for: it charges one LiFePO4 cell — 3.2V nominal, 3.65V at full
charge. It is not a pack charger: a 12V LFP pack is 4 cells in series and charges at 14.6V, and a
48V pack charges at 58.4V. We build all of those on the same platform — tell us your pack and we
will quote the right output voltage.
Full technical data sheet — complete electrical specification, protection and
indication detail, output-lead options and housing colours, the LiFePO4 cell voltage reference and
ordering terms. 2 pages, PDF.

In CC mode the charger pushes a steady 20A into the cell until it reaches 3.65V, then holds that
voltage while the current tapers off. 3.65V is the standard full-charge termination voltage for LFP
chemistry — a charger that stops at the 3.2V nominal voltage will never actually fill the cell.
The case is aluminium alloy, so heat leaves the power stage by design and the housing will not
rust in a workshop or a marine installation.
Active cooling lets the unit hold a steady 20A instead of derating part-way through a charge.
OVP, OCP, SCP and OTP. The charger cuts out on a fault instead of cooking the cell or itself.
efficiency above 88% at rated input voltage and full load. That is the acceptance limit this
unit is built to, not a marketing target.
1-year warranty. We build it, so we can stand behind it.
Certification: the YZ550 is not yet certified to a national scheme. YZPOWER is an
OEM/ODM manufacturer, so certification is normally handled with the order — tell us the market you
sell into and we will manage the application for that market (CE (LVD) and RoHS for the EU, UKCA for
the UK, CB (IECEE) as the basis for national approvals, SAA / RCM for Australia, ETL / UL for North
America) and quote it alongside the charger.
Own SMT lines, assembly zones, aging chambers and IQC / IPQC / OQC checkpoints sit under one roof;
every unit gets a full-load burn-in, and your order runs through three inspections before we
photograph it and dispatch.

Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer. YZPOWER has designed, assembled and tested battery chargers in our own 3,000 m² factory in Shenzhen since 2011 — SMT lines, assembly zones, aging chambers and quality control all under one roof. OEM and ODM builds are welcome.
What exactly does this charger charge?
One LiFePO4 (LFP) cell — a 1S cell, 3.2V nominal and 3.65V at full charge. It is a cell-level charger for charging, forming and top-balancing individual LFP cells, not a pack charger. If your battery is a finished pack, tell us the pack voltage instead and we will quote the right charger.
Why 3.65V and not 3.2V?
3.2V is the nominal, at-rest voltage of an LFP cell; 3.65V is the standard full-charge termination voltage for this chemistry. A charger that stops at 3.2V will never actually fill the cell, so 3.65V is the correct output for a 1S LFP charger.
Is this the same as a 12V LiFePO4 charger?
No. A 12V LFP pack is four cells in series (4S) and charges at 14.6V; a 24V pack is 8S at 29.2V and a 48V pack is 16S at 58.4V. This unit charges a single cell. We build the pack chargers on the same platform, so tell us your pack voltage and capacity and we will quote the right one.
What output connection does it have?
A DC output lead, produced to your cell's terminal. Tell us whether you need alligator clips, ring lugs, or a connector to your own drawing, and we build to that drawing.
What is your MOQ, lead time and warranty?
MOQ is 10 pieces for standard production, with a bulk lead time of 15-20 working days after deposit confirmation. Sample lead time is 1-7 days after deposit payment is confirmed; sample payment can be made by T/T, MoneyGram or Western Union. Warranty is 1 year.
Do you inspect and photograph the order before shipment?
Yes. Every order passes incoming, in-process and outgoing inspection before packing, and we photograph the finished goods and send you the tracking number before dispatch.
